I try to write my poems in happier light,
But no matter what I try they turn dark,
What I need to do is find something called a fight,
And strive just like a peaceful, singing lark.

I really do want to write some inspirational poems, but its hard when you can't put truly amazing things into words, you can only put some what sad and dark things into words...

Secretly, I have trouble doing the exact opposite when it comes to writing dark poems even when I try. And I'm not saying this as a good thing because I want some balance in my poems. I love this poem, very uplifting
